SewingI do have Adhd and no money, as you can imagine
any resources you’d recommend for getting into 3d printing?
Lately of a poem-writing spree, with words toying, feeling very free, I’ve been enjoying greatly.
Is Gear Acquisition Syndrome a hobby? Lol
Origami and making clothes. I’m decent at the former, not self confident enough at the latter.
Latest hobby is photography, I had a camera for Christmas after not having a camera with interchangeable lenses in decades. I like that it gets me out the house as like nature/landscape/train photography.
Long standing hobbies are mechanical keyboards and coffee, espresso and pour over.
Keyboards I have really slowed down my purchases to just two or three new keyboards each year.
Coffee I have not purchased anything other than beans in a long time, but I still want to upgrade my espresso machine (marax) at some point.
I love to gate keep! But it’s not going well.

PSH, you call that bad, my gates WAY worse.
It’s still there so I’d call that a success.
Archery, history, languages, programming.

What’s the latest in the bedrotting hobbisphere? Any new tips and tricks?
Ooh I got one, did u know u can scroll through Netflix for 15min and never decide on what to watch?
This works across streaming platforms! Peacock is a reliable one, nothing there is really worth watching, but what if you wanted to watch The Office again?
15 minutes?! Those are rookie numbers. If your really interested in the hobby subscribe to Foxtel again (as well as Netflix) and you’ll be in the big league.
This is what sets the betrotting enthusiasts apart from the pros. I can only do 2-3 minutes before I switch apps and try YouTube or lemmy.
Why, you’re doing it right now!
Sure, but I could be doing it so much better!
I don’t think OP is a sir 🤔

Piefed shows pronouns as a flair. I wonder when Lemmy will get support for flairs too.
Photography, knitting, hiking, baking, and video games.
Boardgaming!
I own a modest company collection, run weekly boardgame nights, and demo boardgames at conventions for a large publisher. It helped me meet a lot of fantastic people. Boardgamers are some of the coolest nerds out there.
I like playing board games.
The problem is I don’t enjoy sitting through 25 minute explainations of the rules of board games
For sure, nobody does! The art of the teach is so important.
panics, runs out of the room

If you keep running that’d be a hobby in itself.
A hobby is usually something you enjoy.
I came here to say that I enjoy the process of running. :(
Well, they do say it takes all sorts.
The enjoying part comes after the running tho.
So the hobby is not-running.
Does that make not-collecting stamps a hobby and does the atheist community know?
I think the hobby with collecting stamps is not mailing letters.
Cooking. Being gigantic means ya boi eats. So why not enjoy what I eat? I never understood the protein shake drinkers.
Some people don’t mind bland food or eating the same thing all the time. As someone trying to lose weight, I envy them.
Healthy food doesn’t have to bland. One of my favorite things is a spicy red cabbage slaw with lime juice and apple cider vinegar. I’m currently eating carrots with ranch made from Greek yogurt. Denying yourself flavor is not a strategy for long term success.
I am well aware, but not caring what my food tasted like would make things much easier.
This is me. I like using my morning protein shake as a kind of coffee creamer. Then I don’t eat til dinner. Then I eat burritos, which I like. It’s a pretty easy way to stay lean
Weightlifting, gaming, following politics.
