I don’t see why he’d roll back gun laws, an already disarmed populace is a benefit for him.

A lot of the farming and hunting community are annoyed at the current state of gun laws. People who do actually use the limited range of guns in the UK for legitimate uses have to wade through paperwork, fees, wasted time and inconsistent rules to continue owning a gun. It’s also hard to be sure that you are actually complying with the law, because it’s so inconsistently applied to people.
For those that care about gun ownership, “cutting the red tape” is an easy win. Cutting the red tape and not making a complete hash of it all, that is going to be hard.
Fiscal conservatism is when increase firearm violence per capita by 2 orders of mangnitude. What a boon for the NHS that will be.
