I did see what you posted, just chiming in to say this is really putting a pin in my plans to visit my brother in the US next year after I finish uni :/
You could always meet somewhere else that’s a flight for you both? That way you’d both get a holiday and something exciting to look forward to :)
If you haven’t done it, the climb up to Machu Picchu is beyond words level of beautiful, breathtaking and pure awe. It’s relatively cheap too.
