I have followed your advice, testing has now deemed the cake ok. Fortunately it was a large cake 🤣. I now have 16 slices packaged in the freezer, and two more slices to take into work for the next two days.

I just accidentally ate two slices of banana cake. In my defence it is still warm from the oven.

And we do appreciate it.

You know how you put banana’s into the freezer to make banana cake and eventually end up just throwing out a hoard of old bananas before starting the cycle again? I pulled out my bananas and made a cake.

Yeah, I use that and it’s really good. It also shows you a graph of average prices, it’s interesting to look at the different patterns in different capital cities.

I have found there are a few places that seem to go up first, then the rest follow over a week or so. So far there have not been any going up again, so I should be good for at least a few days.

I decided to look at the 7-Eleven app as it keeps getting recommended. There does not seem to be any option to actual create an account. The closest I can find is to sign up for their rewards program, which starts with requiring a phone number and tells me that my phone number is invalid. Also looking at the fine print they now limit the amount you can save by locking the fuel price to 25c, which considering it often jumps 40c or more when it goes up these days is not quite the “price lock” I imagined.

Edit: solved the issue with signing up - some weird glitch on the tablet that if the app is in landscape mode it doesn’t show the option to register. It is there on the phone and when I resize the window on the tablet it magically appeared there too!

2nd Edit: solved except it is supposed to send a code to my email address and it has not come through.

Good morning, I was unbothered by greebles for the entire night. Miss Meow crept in early this morning to guard me from any that may have decided to make an appearance. I hope your night was simalarly greeble free.

Miss Meow caught all the greebles earlies tonight, so I should be alright. Sleep well, I’ve heard greebles don’t bother drunk people, so you should be fine too.

I should have tidied up my stationery earlier - I found $100!!!

I recall a couple of years ago thinking I must have been overly optimistic in my estimates of how much money I had received from selling some of my stuff, I guess I was right after all. Shoving my cash inside a random notebook until I could put it in the bank seemed like a good idea at the time.

I think most of it is for reasons that no longer apply now that we tend to do everything on computers. Also a bunch of stuff from when I was selling a lot more on eBay. I think the chances of me using three full boxes of address labels in my lifetiime are now fairly slim.

I have now completed a full clean of Miss Meow’s litter boxes. Hopefully she is impressed, and not too alarmed that I have also rearranged some of the furniture in the area.

The house over the road is having it’s roof cleaned. Maybe I’m being too picky, but I don’t think I’d have gone with a company called “Bad Roof Restorations”.
