They look so awesome!
I bet they are super vulnerable to everything though!Yeah, I feel like you’d want the perfect climate for these to work. Like, thick tree coverage, low wind, tame storms. Maybe somewhere that gets fog a lot.
Sounds like you are describing heaven on earth, or as I call it, Detroit.
And morning dew collected on it during a cloudy day.
Otherwise it looks like… Chicken wire.
Or maybe just stake it to the ground?
My first thought was spraying it with water in subzero temps.
There’s a house on my way to work that does them. The creepiest thing is that when driving past it at night, you can’t see them unless they have a spotlight on them. Even then, at 40mph they’re almost invisible.
I love this. I would want to move them around every so often too. Just so passersby never get used to them.
Add in some strange ambient noising/music!

Looks a lot like wire frame mesh from cad and Photoshop. Better pics?
The pixelation definitely helps sell the illusion.
Sigh… you just had to post this after Halloween, didn’t you?
I was bummed I found it after Halloween too… I’ll never remember for next year.
Makes me miss Reddit’s RemindMe bot.
Wait, I think we have one from Mastodon… let me try to find it.

Me too?
Hmm, I guess the bot’s not that smart and I have to ask explicitly

This would be incredibly difficult. Are you a world class sculptor? Even if you are, I doubt they would look like this in person, they’d look like chicken wire.
Add some fog and it’s perfect.
That and attach them to the top of those roomba style lawn mowers.
If I had the talent, I’d do this in a heartbeat!
