After a couple days of thinking about it, I think it’s still slop, because no matter how detailed my prompt is, it’s still just using the direct output of the ai. What I could do that I think would be ok though is use the ai version as a reference to do my own shading and whatnot.

I just assume that everything I’ve ever done is already in the ai anyway. Chatgpt could probably summarize my book and I haven’t even wrote it yet (it’s very good at turning my drunk ramblings into coherent notes for me to review when sober. Drunk me also has no willpower to resist easy dopamine.)

I was drunk and drunk me was getting depressed. Sober me likes my art a lot more. It felt good to make, and all this external validation is helping me stay motivated to keep getting better.
