It’s more fun making the crappy photoshop images myself (Though I use GIMP not photoshop because fuck Adobe)
Not to mention there’s no ethical or moral concerns when making them

I’ve got to agree with you now that I found a good Tux image to edit.

The penguin ain’t messing around no more.

Sources for the images I slapped together: The penguin is from an article on the Indianapolis zoo, and the rest is the cover image from John Wick taken from the Lionsgate page on the movie.

So a murder and the pig’s “panic attack” was likely just to make sure that they died. Gotcha.
lol I got a Dell Latitude 5420 with nearly the same specs, mine only came with 8GB of ram so I upgraded it to 32GB. I did that though almost 2 years ago when prices were sane though.
I’ve also loaded mine with Kubuntu, it came with Linux Mint though which was cool.
The older Dell Latitude models are quite nice IMO. Like the 5000 series ones.
You can snag them for fairly cheap from Free Geek on eBay.

Totally understandable why you’d change career paths from farming to computer related things, that shit is hard AF and a nightmare.
Solar farms though are way easier than other kinds of farms though, in fact I’d say it’s closer to computer work than farm work.
Basically monitor output, keep the panels clean, and keep debris to a minimum around the panels. Oh and of course repairs, but without moving parts those repairs are gonna be happening less often than other kinds of power generation.

NGL I was excited to hear the news of official GrapheneOS devices coming, hopefully they won’t just be their flagship devices but the whole product stack.

“Just gonna add this loot to the party’s inventory real quick.”

OMG YES!!!
This makes me really happy because it’ll make collaborating with friends on things a lot easier.

That’s cool, still leaving though.
I ain’t submitting my ID to anyone over the internet.
This is a place of anonymity, not for proclaiming from the rooftops who I am on here.

That’s the hard part really, finding a new group chat platform.
My friends and I are switching to Matrix but finding a community there is gonna be a bit tough.
We all become too dependent on Discord and now we’re paying the price when we try to leave.

With each passing year this comic ages more and more like wine.
Medium format is really fun to shoot too! I’ve also got a Lubitel 166b (also a TLR, and a HELLA cheap camera) that I snagged awhile ago and it needed a lot of work too.
The artifacts around the edges of the image here I think might either be some light leaks I still need to fix or from my bodged scanning.
I develop my black and white film myself as it’s WAY cheaper to do it myself, I’m planning to start doing cyanotype prints soon as I think that would be really cool too.
Fixing larger older cameras is really fun IMO, it’s complicated for sure but they’re WAY more simple than newer cameras.
I’ve got 1 more from that trip out there, with large format it’s pretty tough to get a bunch of shots.

One quick hack to make the shareholders happy with how much money you’ve been putting into a failing project: rename a successful one to the failing project’s name.

I’ve literally seen pants that have what looks like pockets but when you actually check there no actual pockets there. It’s like they cut the hole, made the folds, then stitched them closed.
It blows my mind!

I’d love to buy a home
I just can’t do it any time soon due to ballooning prices where I currently live
So much this!
If you’ve got an electric vehicle you can charge it with anything really.
Solar panels, hydro, wind, a generator, etc
The perfect apocalypse vehicle load out IMO is an electric car (perhaps even an electric van/box truck), electric dual sport motorcycle, and a bicycle.
