If Reform want to target a bunch of overpaid underachievers who are draining public money, they should look to our privatised services

Yet to find a single article photo of Farage, where he doesn’t look like a deranged lunatic

Councilors often go on about being busy but what do they actually DO? I live in an area where councillors can earn £17k a year. I have yet to see a councillor in real life or see anything happen in our local area as a direct response of the councillor’s actions. Our councillor doesn’t even live here (in the countryside outside of our town.

From what I understand, they sit through a lot of meetings where council officials tell them what they are doing. The more meetings they sit through, the more cash they earn.

Technically their job is to spread yours and other local opinions at those meetings. Telling the permanent council staff the direction Thier voters want the council to go.

Really with the average town councillor having extremely low torn out to elect them. Most are only representing the views of a couple of hundred locals.

Seriously a very little not to public effort all Tory and reform councils could be removed. Even in what are seen as safe zones.

In our ward they don’t even bother turning out. I think the LibDem who usually wins - and doesn’t even live here! - gets about 900 votes.

All of these attacks on Nigel’s Party are so lucid, objective and principled. Why do we handicap ourselves so?

Because unprincipled voters will not care about reforms lack. But will judge those who claim they are failing,

Principled voters will not vote at all if both sides are unprincipled. So all that is gained is lower votes in opposition.
