Turns out dehumanizing people is not a persuasive way to bring people to your viewpoint, who knew?

Lemmy is a very small echo chamber with a strong bias, but that’s ok, I love it anyway

Yeah, I was suprised that Lemmy, which touted itself as such a great alternative to Reddit, was so hateful in its bias.

Sure, some bias is exptected, but the hate and vitriol I received here just because I didn’t vote for Harris was crazy. Banned from instances, lied about, followed around by a downvote brigade, people posting stats about me. Like full-on batshit crazy people here.

But I like Lemmy and love the idea of the fediverse. And I hope the hateful bullies here do some soul-searching after tonight’s election. Because their hate made me more anti-democrat than I ever was before!

And their bullying didn’t make me leave Lemmy. I’m here to stay. :)

The real villain is the first past the post voting system that degenerates into a duopoly

I can agree with that! I’m no fan of the duopoly and that’s why I didn’t support it with my votes. Even tho Lemmy tried to bully me. And banned me from soooo many instances. lol
