We’ve got Yuru Camp 3, Konosuba 3, Hibike! Euphonium 3, and Slime 3, and yet there’s still no Half Life 3. Gaben, please listen to our plea!

I continue to be amazed at the difference between Japan vs. international audiences for some of these shows. Looking at comparing JP twitter followers to MAL followers (so, mostly JP audience vs. mostly international audience):

Show Total JP Twitter Followers Total MAL Followers
    Bravern 75,671 13,677
    Dungeon Meshi 70,639 180,493
Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic 33,581 130,965
    Chained Soldier 57,780 152,915
    Hokkaido Gals 32,574 118,145

Just further proof that the international audience is sleeping on Bravern.

The most cultured anime of the season at the fourth place, yay.

I’m surprised that Solo Leveling did not even get into top 15, on the torrent sites it’s in the second place in popularity, right after Frieren.

From what I’ve been reading on the karma chart comments, there’s not much marketing of SL in Japan, for whatever reasons. Maybe because the plot does something bad to Japan or Japanese later. I don’t know because I haven’t read that far.

That explains it. It’s a Korean novel, Japanese are the bad guys, yeah.

That wouldn’t surprise me, if that happens later from where I have read up to.

Big jumps by Hokkaido Gals, Ishura, Wrong Way, and Wedding Rings, none of which I’m following…

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

You have to convince everyone it’s worth catching up through 5 seasons before S6 starts.

I wonder how far through the story the anime is compared to the live action movies. If I was seriously determined to catch up on the show, I would be tempted to blitz through the movies instead of the anime to try to get through it faster.

Basically the politics and scheming of The Apothecary Diaries with a bunch large scale battles. Plus awesome music.
