Regardless of how innocuous content might seem, don’t link fox news. Don’t feed broken machines.

That includes Fox affiliates, which provide cover and lend legitimacy to the cable version.

I couldn’t imagine just leaving my dog there because I didn’t have a crate. If my dogs are with me, and they can’t fly, then I can’t fly. Pisses me off how some people treat animals. My dogs are my whole world. If you do something like this you should be blacklisted from every owning a dog again.

Yes, I’m in 100% agreement, I wish we could treat people how they treat animals.

That aside, the article says it’s a license French bulldog. Those fuckers are EXPENSIVE. I can’t imagine just ditching thousand of dollars like that (morality of it aside).

Oh no, I missed that part. Jeez, someone has more money than they know what to do with. Money makes some people so shitty. Not that they weren’t before, but seems like it really brings it out of some people.

Also, if you’ve got that kind of money surely you can find someone to bring a crate or take the dog elsewhere.

Based. Stick cattle farmers in feedlots when they’re 4 and slaughter them at 8. Macerate all the male chicken farmers.

eh, dairy cows are slaughtered at 4-6, and they’re the oldest animals to be slaughtered. Most animals are MONTHS or WEEKS old. not years.

Also, male chicks are macerated (mashed up alive) at just one to two hours old, because they’re “useless”. THey won’t ever lay eggs, and they won’t grow big enough to be worth it for meat chickens, so they’re mashed up alive at a few hours. This is what you support when you support animal ag.

Yeup. IIRC, cattle are generally killed for their flesh from 1-2 years old, or about 5-10% of their natural lifespan. I was just saying 4-8 years for humans to be a more relatable comparison.

I live in a college town. Several of our dogs came from the shelter, one of them was found in an empty apartment. Her owner moved and just left her, probably assumed someone would take her to the shelter.

It’s apparently pretty common around here. Luckily someone found her, but some of these apartments don’t immediately have a new tenant and the dog dies.

I just can’t imagine doing this. Our dogs are part of the family.

So a warrant for animal abuse was issued for her arrest, yes? If she was a college student she may be gone for years, but it would be great if she were to be arrested when she returns for her 10 year reunion.

This story comes from a conservative tabloid. Is there any verification that this actually happened? Perhaps from a legitimate news source?

Are you suggesting everything from a conservative source is “fake news”?

That was one of the first little bits of verbal diarrhea that we saw from a certain oompa loompa looking motherfucker back in the day… You remember? The guy that turned most of the conservative side of the house into a jonestown cult? Don’t listen to the other guys news stories because blah blah blah they’re liberals and we don’t like em?

It’s ok I guess, do the exact same shit you claim to hate… I’ll be over in the corner there with my popcorn and shit. At some point I’ll abandoned all your forums like I’ve abandoned theirs, whenever y’all go full batshit.

Fox “News” testified in court (multiple times) that no reasonable person would accept their stories as factual. They testified under oath that they are not news.

As for the rest of conservative media, every word uttered by a conservative is deception or manipulation. Every single word.

You can’t know what’s real and what’s a lie on Fox News, so the correct response is to believe nothing they say unless it’s corroborated. But if you have another source, what do you need Fox News for? There is literally no reason to ever pay attention to Fox News except to keep tabs on what bullshit they’re feeding to their audience.

It’s a very short article, woman left her microchipped dog in a stroller after she was told it couldn’t fly without a crate, and they intend to charge her.

There’s nothing about race, gender, sexuality, age, no mention of anything that would immediately get identified in a typical left/right biased article. There’s absolutely zero politicizing, so why would there be any concern for factuality?

I don’t have a clue what fox news even looks like anymore (I don’t really give a shit what outlet is hosting any given article, but I’m not going to actively looking for fox news articles, and I’m not prone to visiting righty communities that would post them), but clicking this and reading it gives me absolutely no indication that I need any grains of salt to go with it. I can’t say the same for like 99% of the articles that get linked…

The “oh no… Fox… Lies!!! Everything is false!!! Beware!!!” Seems more like righty shit than lefty shit, so I’m gonna say something :)

Fox lies. They are world famous for it. This is not a sleight or an insult. It is not a commentary on weak or partisan journalism. It is a fact. They are liars. They have testified to that in court multiple times. That makes them a tabloid. They admit that in courtrooms. Their veracity should never, ever be assumed.

No one is picking on you. We are simply questioning the source, since the source itself admits to being questionable.

Maybe this is for the best. Someone who would abandon a dog at an airport shouldn’t own the dog in the first place. I couldn’t even imagine giving up my dogs. I love them so much. I’ve already lost two dogs in my life (through old age) and the pain was as great as losing humans I love.

Would this person give up a child too?
