I’m mainly talking about Drive and Pass. I don’t really remember as it’s been a while since I’ve tested them, but the situation doesn’t seem to have changed. Here’s a good thread for Drive. I remember Pass having problems with auto-fill which made it unusable for me.

I have Proton Unlimited but only use two of their services because of this, it’s pretty frustrating.

I love Proton’s mission just like all Lemmy users but I wouldn’t say you can trust them in terms of quality. Apart from Proton Mail and Proton VPN, most of their other products unfortunately have a deep lack of features.

The gameplay is really well done I think. As much as I love 2, the way you move in 3 makes 2 feel old and kinda slow. As long as you play solo it’s really fun, it’s the story that’s utter garbage but everything else is good.

Props for taking feedback into account and making it look less like The Long Dark compared to last time. I like the new banner and logo!

Yeah! I like this idea. Not sure how feasible it is but I’d sure like to see some billionaire at least try it.

Main problem with this I think is who would get to drive them? Because they need to be driven at least a little to keep their shape and to make sense. Not all people could drive them because they need to be driven carefully, which most people can’t do (brand new track day cars are famously beaten up even after a few years, not exactly the same context but something to keep in mind).

What would you rather do with all these old classic cars that require a great amount of money to keep running, then?

Is it really wasteful though? Especially if they’re classic cars, it’s not like the money is thrown out the window. The value is still here, just in car form instead of stock/bank account form.

Yup, this hits the nail on the head for me. I’ve had my dog for five years now and I’m still not at peace with the fact that he’s reactive. Every day is a struggle, especially as someone who already had depression.

It’s already plenty hard enough without judgy remarks from people who have no idea what they’re taking about.

I do try it from time to time. My last try was with a Pixel 7 and although I loved Material You on it, my main issue was that the quality of apps wasn’t great and most just didn’t feel nice to use (even Google’s own apps feel better to use on iOS).

Didn’t help that the Pixel 7 was way too big and I couldn’t get used to that either, among a few other problems.

Oh how I’d love to see one of these for my country (France). I bet it would mostly be Golfs and Polos, Seat Ibizas, BMW Series 1 and Audi A3s here.

Their latest announcements are interesting because they say some of their privacy claims will be verifiable by independent firms (mainly when it comes to their custom built AI servers iirc). Is this actually worth something or is it just marketing fluff?

It wasn’t a flexible screen, it was just bent. Also it was the back that was self healing iirc, not the display
