It was clearly evident when they released the Apple Pencil. Jobs hated Stylus’. one of the reasons he killed the newton, and a reason why the iphone/ipad never originally had one as he was quoted as saying “why would I need a stylus? I have 5 of them on my hand”

Don’t complain about a week taking forever and you hope the weekend comes soon because once you hit your 40s all that “time” snowballs together and you’ll be begging the days to go by slower. Things start speeding up and people start leaving you and you have no choice but to go along for the ride and hope for the best. You’re still in your 20s, cherish the time you have. hold onto it. apprecaite it. Take as many photos as you can, take as many videos as you can and save them. Friends and lovers will come and go but those memories from your 20s will last forever. make it easy to remember them.
sorry I’m new to Linux but most of the people I’ve spoken to on various linux discords the consensus seemed to be that Mint was fantastic to start out on but most moved on to something else after awhile.
If in the future you don’t want to dual boot you should check out CachyOS. I use that as my daily driver right now and it’s great for gaming.
that’s generally how it works with Mint. you install it, use it for a week or two and then move onto a distro that better suites your needs. Mint is a fantastic introduction and sure many will stick with it for awhile I think most move on from it fairly quickly.
one of the best MCU movies in awhile, that they even acknowledge in the film. felt like one of the first marvel movies that was a real love letter to fans of the comic books as there were quite a few deep cuts from the comic books. Cassandra Nova was prety much ripped right from the comics as far as her looks and personality goes. Lady Deadpool, Marvel Zombies Deadpool, Ultimate Deadpool, Kidpool, Deadpool 2099, Zenpool…like wow I was even surprised they had Deadpool 2099 in it. the first live action version of a 2099 character.
great movie. and man Gambits costume was just spot on, even had the weird cross hatch neck thing. pulled right from the comics and cartoon.
back in the late 00’s there was (maybe still is, who knows) an online service called “gamefly” where you could rent games. At the time the DS pokemon games would allow you to plug in a pokemon GBA cart and copy the pokemon from the GBA to your DS. So I would constantly rent GBA Pokemon games in hopes of finding something good on them to copy to my DS Pokemon game. I had it all scheduled out and everything. You could also wondertrade hacked pokemon or like really good pokemon online. I don’t remember exactly HOW you did it but I do remembering doing it.

That being said the people that maintain the filter lists I believe, don’t quoute me on this, you can donate to a few of them. Really depends if they mention it on their githubs though and you pretty much have to go about finding them on your own as there’s no real centralized list of all the people that contribue to the filter lists.
it’s total bullshit. For example if you use ublock origin every now and again sure you might get ads that pop up, but AT MOST that lasts for a day, generally it’ll last a couple hours as the team at ublock update their lists to block ads again. There’s no need, literally zero need, to remove it from your extensions. and at worst, like I got yesterday, you’ll just see a black screen that buffers for a bit before the video plays. the ad is still blocked.
you can also circumvent most of this if you use freetube. OR if you just want music the youtube-dl script on linux. I also ditched spotify for youtube-dl as I can also download entire playlists with it.

The Acolyte takes place 100 years before TPM. The Acolyte makes Yoda look like an absolute moron if indeed Vernestra tells him what’s going on. What else would she be telling him? Those twins? yeah they were a vergence in the force and Sol wanted to train them even though we know it’s a bad idea. 100 years later? “Ok Obi-Wan go ahead and train that vergence in the force because it’ll probably go better than it did 100 years ago…huh? this happened before you ask? uh…yeah…didn’t go well but I’m sure you’re more qualified than Sol”

The Acoylte is trying to be a Skywalker Saga Prequel and if you can’t see it then I don’t know what to tell you. The Twins are the beta version of Anakin. With the introduction of Darth Plagueis which we should have all seen coming a mile away and now Yoda being involved it’s just all so painfully obvious.
It takes what happened in the Prequels with the downfall of the Jedi, the vergence in the force, the return of the Sith and says “yeah fuck all that, lets do the same thing and set it 100 years earlier” it’s unorignial garbage. It takes what happened with Anakin and pretty much says he isn’t special, this happened before with many of the same people involved.
Well this is just absolutely untrue. If there’s a pool of people who want to work then someone will just give them a job? what kind of magical unicorn world are you living in? So in your world unemployment rates just…don’t exist or are a fabrication? those people are just lazy?

I work with the homeless. the main misconception is that they’re all either addicts or mentally ill. This is far, far, from true. The ones you see daily, chances are they are addicts or mentally ill but the “hidden” homeless vastly out weighs the ones you see on the streets.
Most have jobs or are actively looking for work. A lot are escaping domestic abuse or are LGBTQ+ and escaping hostile home environments. There are A LOT of families and elderly people who simply can’t afford to keep a roof over their heads.
as someone who was homeless I’d let them in to take a shower and trim themselves up. If they’re an addict or mentally ill then no, i’d direct them somewehre else. I’ve had way too many bad interactions with both, especially addicts. If it was a homeless person who was sober and mentally sound? yeah i’d provide help because I know that programs and resources don’t exist for them they’re tailored for the addicts and mentally ill. Hell i’d even offer my couch. But addicts know the system and they’re only going to your door to rip you off. and the mentally ill don’t even know they’re homeless so they wouldn’t be knocking and asking for help anyways.
So Star Trek Online is an MMORPG and has been around for a several years now. In the game there’s a story, a convoluted one, but a story none the less.
Now imagine every single thing that has ever happened in the entirety of Star Trek regardless of tv show, movie, timeline, multiverse, animated show, whatever. everything. think of everything that has ever had “Star Trek” in it’s title. got it? good. it’s in the game. and in the story.
One aspect is the mirror universe which is a decent chunk of the story and it’s a good excuse to bring back old Star Trek actors whose characters might be dead. Like there’s A LOT of mirror universe stuff in the game.
really at the end of the day Star Trek Online is essentially the multiverse nexus of all Star Trek.
