I’m not sure what exactly you’re aware of that was debunked. I’m down to find out, though.

Here’s a link to the study and here’s the press release about the study. For what it’s worth, it was mentioned in both that they’re not sure how or why this worked, that it’s preliminary findings, and that there’s lots more research to do.

Kudos to them for using various methods of microscopy and properly labeling each image. My microscopy nerdiness tingled inside.

It feels so surreal to be in a newly-budding set of communities with the same UI I fell in love with years ago.
