I’ve said it before, I will say it again: People have always complained about the current generation when their own generation was little different and was also complained about.

Stuff like “Gen Alpha is crazy!1!1!1!1!1!1!” to me is not very different from literally every other generation being complained about so I can safely ignore stuff like that. I don’t see how Gen Alpha is super different from any previous generation when they were around the same age.

For me, the bare minimum is that they don’t believe it is okay to hit children.

I’ve talked about this with my therapist before and it really helped. Tony is 10 years older than me.

The depressive incident I mentioned was years back but I remember it just as strongly and the hatred is just as intense. I do not want to talk about the main details behind the depression.

Today, I am far less depressed but talk about any issues with my therapist. I believe that suicide is no longer an option for me as I want to fulfill my purpose in this life and see the capitalist system finally fall apart.

The go-to example is definitely Pol Pot’s Cambodia. It was basically red fascism but actually real.

By “socially progressive”, I am referring to the things we usually refer to when it comes to social progress: acceptance of LGBTQ+, rights for women, anti-racism, respect for youth and elderly, etc.

By “conservative”, it would mean opposition to such advances in social progress.

To be fair, homeschooling can be done right by genuinely good parents, but I definitely believe it should be rendered obsolete by having much better schools as I have described here, especially since homeschooling gives immense control of a child to parents, even when homeschooling is done right.
