Like 10-15 years ago, I contacted the air force to join and become an officer (I have a degree). I wanted to do a gs-1102 job. The recruiter asked why I wanted to join. I said for a job. They said no, they wanted patriots. Guy, ask service members, they aren’t there to “serve their country,” they are there for a job.
McMaster-carr is amazing for technical parts. I love it.
This kind of story is old as time. A similar thing happened in Illinois.

This requires organizing. Even the revolution requires organizing, so I think you’d get more traction with rank choice voting vs a revolution.

4·2 months agoIt sounds like the argument you made is to limit the use of firearms to reduce the amount of accidents.
I don’t think waving a gun around and blocking in a car is accidental.
All I know is that free trade is not fair trade. The solutions to this are referred to as “communism,” so it won’t be taken seriously or when it is taken seriously they’ll send in police/CIA/hitmen to fuck shit up to put an end to it.
Let’s be real, companies are committing trade fraud and just shipping their goods to a different country that doesn’t have tariffs then reshipping to the US. I listened to it on Planet Money. The sad part is, the US government isn’t investigating or enforcing the tariffs. It’s useless.

Been working my way through Richard Wolfe stuff first, then I’ll work on the classics. If Wolfe says USSR was state capitalism, then he’s a liberal too.
And as many argue, USSR was state capitalism.
Well, one thing that is clearer than anything else is, you are going to have to work. So do something that you are okay with and you are good at, and get paid decently for.
