Send my soul to Juggalo City
Dig my grave six feet deep
Put two matches at my feet
Put two hatchets on my chest
Tell my homies I did my best
cattywampas@midwest.socialto Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Especiallyif you drink scotch beforehand7·5 days agoLove is like a roll of tape
It’s real good for making two things one
But just like that roll of tape
Love sometimes breaks off before you are done
Another way that love is similar to tape
That I’ve noticed
Is sometimes, it’s hard to see the end
You search 'round the roll
You search 'round the roll
You search 'round the roll
With your fingernail
Again and again and again and again
And again…
An elegant meme, for a more civilized age.
T. Rex didn’t exist until about 70 million years after Stegosaurus was gone, so one of them had time traveling powers.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may be able to refuse a field sobriety test and opt for a chemical test (breath or blood) instead with no penalty. That’s the case in my state and many others.
You can also generally refuse a chemical test as well, but doing so will likely get your license suspended.
But check your local laws to be sure.

I will take either of those as a win.

And you’d be able to undercut any competition and corner the market.
Nutritionally complete and pulverized into a paste?
A great thing to do would be to start delegating community cleaning to students in schools. I believe they do this in Japan. If we start teaching kids to work collectively and take care of common spaces together, we can make a society that does the same.
Like you said, we already all do it in our own homes.
It’s hilarious. Taylor Swift posts have to be the easiest rage/engagement bait for sports accounts that have ever existed.

This is not possible. Barring some miracle technologies being developed, we would have to radically change our standards of living and give up our modern convenient lives to make meaningful changes.

cattywampas@midwest.socialto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is it realistic to hope that lemmy grows to the size of the bigger social media platforms?20·1 month agoNo. I’m much more technology-literate than the average person, and while I appreciate the advantages of federation it annoys even me a lot of times.
Also, Lemmy is much further left than the average population and even reddit. So either it won’t grow to mainstream size because of that, or it will and the demographic will shift more to the center which will be off-putting to the original users.
But a function nonetheless, and it’s been one for millions of years and since before we were human.
