My shop usually offers to drive me somewhere. Also helps to live in a country with viable public transportation. And higher tier shops even have cheap car rentals which often even tie into people’s insurance.

Just [email protected] things.
Oh, they definitely could have done DLC. But they didn’t want to. They just didn’t feel like it. And I think this shows how great this studio is. Instead of making a shit-ton of money with some mediocre DLC they instead opted to follow their passion.
People try to put us u-u-under a nonorientable 5 dimensional plane.
BTW, Everquest 2 just added a classic mode.
Mod support can’t come quickly enough.
I think the correct way would be to boot from a previous snapshot and roll back to that. No idea what could go wrong when you’re staying in a snapshot. I’d mostly be afraid that I’d forget that I’m on a snapshot and find myself with the error again on next boot.
Most antivirus software is more sketchy than random cracks.
Skill issue.
Not on Steam, but the longest owned game(s) installed on my Steam Deck are Might and Magic 4+5: World of Xeen. Of the two we had Might and Magic 5: Darkside of Xeen the longest and had gotten Might and Magic 4: Clouds of Xeen from a friend. But a few years later I bought Clouds at a flea market. The version I have installed at the moment comes from GOG.
Back then it was the floppy release. We really had to make space on our 250 MB HDD to install both games at the same time. When you did that they combined into one big game where you could travel between the two sides of one world and solve them in either order. And you had exclusive quests that only opened up when you had both games, including a third true ending to unify both flat sides into a globe.
I considered that our first “real” PC game. Everything before that had only been simple shareware. I do also have Commander Keen 6 installed, but back then we only had the shareware version.
As a VR game by the Alien Isolation guys would be nice.
I got our engagement rings from a gumball machine. Was really hard to find. And even harder to find one that sold rings. When I had finally found one I didn’t have a single 20 cent coin it required on me. I flagged down passerby from across the street. She gave me two coins and refused to take my one Euro in exchange.
Those two coins netted me five balls, which included three rings. I selected the most beautiful and headed home.
We’ve been married for over 13 years so far.
Should be in /usr/share/applicatons
. Copy it to ~/.local/share/applications
to edit it.
With a workaround you can use Onboard. You still need Maliit for the lock screen.
But yeah, the keyboard situation on KDE is abysmal. I’ve seen a little bit of movement on some of the Maliit bug reports. But nothing substantial yet.
On my Steam Deck I use Steam’s keyboard most of the time, Onboard when I need special keys and Maliit for the lock screen.
Sounds like AI with extra steps.
Anon got an irl HUD.
For all of their enthusiasm for text adventures OP doesn’t seem to like engaging in the written word.
