The only reason the first one is true because it’s something the states can actually do. Not sure if any states have been trying to make a healthcare plan but I imagine that’s a lot harder to do then just saying weed is legal now. Basically right now stuff only gets done at a state level in America anymore with how divided and unproductive Congress is.

That feels a lot like me but with also mixing in the fact that I don’t want to let people down. Like if someone asks if I want to do something at a certain time even if I have something else going on that might be kinda close to that my instinct is to say yes cause I do wanna do stuff with them and don’t want to make them feel bad by saying no or make things complicated by trying to plan around me.

I just don’t see the harm with leaving it not banned. At least for me personally the problem with the culture comes from the fact that servers rely on it to make a living so if you don’t do it you’re denying them that. So if you fix that problem and pay a liveable wage and just allow tips as an extra then sure they might still see someone not tipping as stingy but atleast now it’s not impacting their ability to make a living directly so they can’t be as justifiably angry.

Cause atleast personally I haven’t worked in the service industry but I have worked minimum wage at a grocery store and I remember they told us we couldn’t accept extra money from customers which I always thought was dumb. I wasn’t expecting people to give me extra money and it was pretty rare that it happened but occasionally a nice person would come through and offer me some extra money for helping them and I thought it was dumb I had to turn that down. It didn’t make me think less of the people who didn’t do that, just would have been a nice extra bonus to help me out.

I haven’t seen anyone say it should be banned, just not required because the person isn’t making enough money to live off of just the wage they’re paid. I agree it shouldn’t need to be a thing but it should still be an option if you have extra money and feel generous, it just shouldn’t be expected.

Are you saying you think tips should be banned? Like if I offered someone a tip and they accept it should they be in trouble? Cause that’s what I mean when I say no one is saying tipping should be not allowed.

I don’t think anyone is saying we need to not allow tipping, just stop the stupid idea that restaurants can pay less just because an employee is tipped. They shouldn’t be reliant on the good will of people or the social pressure to tip, that should just be an extra.

Yes those could all be possible but the evidence has shown time and time again that people with minority sounding names get less call backs than average. So him filing suit over this is good cause either it was one of those and it will be proven in court pretty easily by company records or it’ll turn out it was race based and the company can be punished for it.

While I agree with this for bigger game companies the problem is people apply the attitude of deserving infinite content to smaller games as well even if they don’t participate in all the things you talked about. For example with Manor Lord the only thing from what was listed that might apply is it being unfinished since it’s in early access. And while that does come with an expectation of more content the speed people expect it at is wrong especially since this game is basically being made by one person.

Me too, people always told me to use the oven or different ways to warm pizza but it always just made the bottom way crispier then it originally was when it was fresh. So I just stick with the microwave and that seems to work pretty well at keeping it like it was when it was fresh.

I mean when the convictions happened they were running those headlines, problem is the news moves on and right now its focused on Biden and his performance at the debate, instead of you know focusing on the horrific lies and policies Trump talked about during the debate.

Well we want him to step down now so someone else with a better chance of winning can run instead. I think this attitude of well if I lost and all the bad stuff happens it’s alright cause I tried my hardest is just infuriating cause it would be literally his fault for not stepping aside and he’s not even willing to accept blame for that.

The problem is the death star is designed to target planets which can’t really dodge out of the way. I imagine aiming the death star takes time and a Borg cube could probably just keep moving and it wouldn’t be able to target it.

I only do it for like the fresh bread you buy from the bakery like those long loafs of French bread. Cause if I don’t and I’m not eating it immediately it gets stale very fast.

I think investigating it is a good idea which is what the house of representatives has been doing with its impeachment inquiry. However as of now they still haven’t found any solid evidence and it seems like they probably won’t. If there’s evidence I’m totally on board with impeaching Biden but that applies both ways to Trump too. And in the case of Trump there are substantially more wrong things he has done and there’s a lot more evidence of those things considering the number of court cases he’s dealing with right now. It’s like what happened with Hillary all over again, there’s evidence of her doing some wrong things which people use to say Trump is a better choice even though he has many more things wrong with him. And much like with Hillary I think all of this investigation stuff is just meant to make him look bad and if Trump wins it will immediately vanish because they know they either don’t really have a case against him or that at most they could give him a slap on the wrist. Either way evidence coming out during discovery from both sides would probably end up making Republicans and Trump look worse than Biden. Which is why even when they win like they did against Hillary they never really follow through.

Most the information I can find on that is talking about the prosecutor being pushed to be removed because he was too soft on corruption within Ukraine. Which was a concern of the USA and Europe as that gives a way for Russia to use that corruption for control within Ukraine. So far I haven’t seen any solid evidence of wrong doing on Biden’s part, he was just carrying out normal pressure to further the USA’s interests in the region.

I mean id happily look at some sources but so far all I’ve heard about Biden is the stuff related to Hunter Biden which doesn’t matter as he doesn’t have a government job and from what I’ve seen he tried to tell people he could get access to his dad for them but he wasn’t really able to. And the other thing I’ve heard was his classified documents which the difference between him and Trump was that he notified the proper authorities that he had the documents and gave them all back while Trump didn’t and when confronted didn’t give everything back and had to be raided.

It’s funny cause the Republicans do try to do stuff like that but it usually ends up failing cause there’s nothing actually there for them to prosecute for. Look at the attempted Biden impeachment and how that floundered cause their only reason was basically well his son did bad things so that must mean Biden is connected to it. It’s almost like the reason it happens to Republicans so much and is successful is because they’re actually doing illegal stuff.
