Thank you!
Cool! Which one?
“I’m a parent.”
“Your mom is a parent…wait.”
I agree with you, the damage has been done. That’s why I’m looking at alternative methods of transportation, like an ebike or public transit. Hopefully your area has good infrastructure for that.
Never leave the home directory without it!
X-actly as intended.

None of this “THE. TRAILER. STARTS. NOW” before the trailer starts
Trailers played in movie theaters do not include this. That is only used for online ads, because sometimes the trailer will play as a pre-roll ad and they don’t want people to skip it.
The trailer shouldn’t give the entire plot away
There’s a reason studios do this. They run focus groups for trailers, and studies have shown that the more plot they reveal, the more likely audiences will buy a ticket to see the movie.

Just updated the post. It’s a weird situation - the 4K edition will preserve the original aspect ratio, but the Blu-ray edition crops it to 16:9.
“What’s the deal with Blu-ray?”
I believe so. I haven’t tried that, but I don’t see any reason why that wouldn’t work.
If anything you can just combine them all into a single .mkv.
It’s a real shame this isn’t getting a 4K release…
There really isn’t any good software for making your own custom Blu-rays.
If you don’t care about menus and just want to put your .mkv on a Blu-ray disc, then you can use tsMuxeR to convert your .mkv file into a Blu-ray compliant ISO or BDMV folder structure.
Keep in mind you’ll need to use the proper video and audio codecs if you want it to properly turn your video file into an ISO - it’s recommended you use AVC/H.264 for video and AC3 (lossy) or TrueHD (lossless) for audio.
Now this is something I’ve never seen before - more than half of the top 20 selling 4Ks of this week are all new releases!
Though one must wonder how Borderlands managed to get in 3rd place…
