I don’t know how effective it is but I use adguard for blocking ads and trackers. It uses a vpn to route traffic through. You can firewall apps so I have all Google apps blocked through the firewall. I’m not sure if this will fully stop Google but I can see that it frequently blocks requests from Google play services. You could also use ADB or canta to remove system apps that you don’t want

You could try refreezer which is a mod of deezer. Allows you to download locally. Not the highest quality you can get but it’s convenient and free

Things I have done:

-install adguard and route all my traffic through it

• enable always on VPN and block connections without

-firewall all apps to block internet connection

-only allow apps the apps i want to use internet on

-replace everything I possibly can with FOSS software

-disable everything google and use helioboard as keyboard

-install shizuku and canta to debloat as much as I can

-route all traffic through orbot (except apps that require me to login)

This is probably overkill but that’s the best I could do on stock android 🤭
