  • I’m not sure I can offer any links but the information is absolutely out there. You should also look into rates of policing in different neighbourhoods and, since they care so much about corruption, point how much white-collar financial crime and stuff is done by white dudes.

But most importantly you gotta understand that they didn’t get there by following logic and it will be very difficult to use objectivity to pull them out an argument where being objective is not important to them.

  • No, and in fact my hair is healthy and people are plenty fine being close to me. I also did say that I rinse it every single day so it’s not dirty.

How on earth would you know for sure that what you’re smelling is specifically unwashed hair, and not someone who simply hasn’t showered at all, and at a sample size big enough to form an opinion? That’s a lot of deep knowledge about the exact cleaning routines of strangers.

Those civilizations thought that it was the wrath of a god or two, or some war would consume everything. We have actual scientific evidence that our completely unhinged and largely unregulated use of resources that natural creatures have no access to is destroying our planet.

If the difference is hard to grasp then I’m starting to understand why the U.S. has undecided voters right now.

  • Probably funny to a younger Irishman but also remember that the Irish grew plenty of food but it was the English who took it away from them despite the fact that potatoes, one of the few things they were left with to eat, were experiencing a blight. The joke/story is often portrayed as the Irish learning aboit potatoes from the Americas and going all-in like the entire culture just went feral for the things and had a monocrop but that wasn’t at all what happened. It wasn’t about whether or not they liked potatoes and more a matter of what the English would even let them eat after stealing all their food.

I wasn’t making a lot of Irish potatoe jokes before but I straight up stopped after learning that. The English did some pretty fucked up things in Ireland.
