  • I don’t know about other bike shares in the country, but we have Bird and Neuron where I live, and they are extremely uncomfortable to ride. No suspension, solid tires (or tire liners), and a very clunky feeling ride.

You’d have to really want to use them to tolerate anything past your first ride.

Now, if these felt more like a premium bike, then it would make people want to use them all the time.

I looked at of the cited sources that showed “strong evidence”. One had a conflict of interest with the author and the other stated “Our findings suggest that the beneficial changes of LC diets must be weighed against the possible detrimental effects of increased LDL-cholesterol.” 😂

There are safer diets out there for weight loss AND overall health!

Ate paleo for a few months a couple of years ago. Got to under 10% body fat, decent muscle growth (was working out

Those results were probably in spite of the diet, if you were only on it for a few months.

Unless you started at 30% fat and unable to do a single push up, I think you were probably already in decent shape before the diet experiment.

  • Registered Dieticians are well educated (as of now, requires a Masters of Nutrition degree), and have to take continual education and bi-yearly license renewal tests, to stay relevant and up-to-date.

Nutritionists can literally be anybody who wants to call themselves a Nutritionist. No education/training/credentials necessary.

This is so true. I would also add that you tend to find more “Nutritionists” on social media pushing bad info. They are basically the chiropractors of the nutrition world.

Sarcasm aside, the science shows that Keto simply isn’t good for fat weight loss and that most weight lost isn’t fat, especially at the beginning.

Yes, you still do lose some fat, but not as much as an actual healthy diet would with some form of calorie restriction.

In the link I posted, there’s a study showing that Keto actually slows down fat loss because it messes with the body so much.

No reason to go on an extreme diet when there are safe, healthy, and far more effective strategies to consider.

  • Things will can stick and you have to be prepared to deal with that.

Again, if you don’t use it properly (i.e. getting the right temperature) then food can stick. The same rings true for even non-stick cookware and cast iron.

A simple search on YouTube for “prevent food from sticking to stainless steel pans” will give you loads of examples of how to use them correctly.

If your intention is to deglaze, then you’ll purposely avoid those techniques. This makes SS quite versatile, in my opinion.
