I came here from Reddit
I have no idea what I’m doing but I never do xD
I study environmental science and I have interests in cycling, climate action, video games and many other things.
I’m iffy about Lenin too. Marx and Engels wrote about bottom up socialism but Lenin came along and basically said the working class is too stupid for a socialist revolution and opted for top down socialism which led to authoritarian socialism and state capitalism.
Our neolib capitalist society is top down governance which is why I highly oppose everything that isn’t bottom up socialism
Yes it cannot be saved because by nature it’s contradictory and exploitative, all of the problems are caused by capitalism because without those problems people would be able to question for another system.
It’s simple there is no reason to work and there’s enough of us to say “fuck it” and march to change our system but none of us can organise a piss up in a brewery to save our lives.
We have working class people on their knees to the capitalists saying “yes master anything master”
We have socialists who prefer to talk about socialist philosophy instead of action, we have socialists who want bottom up socialism and others who want top down socialism
We have other people on the left that wants to keep the abusive system in place and we have the rest of the working class who don’t care about anything.
The problem is literally capitalism
