We hear that it’s dead a week ago and now it’s “in production.” What does that mean? Do they have a cast yet? Is this the same show from before?
Based on his description, The Jolly Balloon Man should really have been a sac + make a token Balloon copy, which I think would have been more interesting as there aren’t a ton of Boros sac commanders
It’s very easy to make a mechanical clone of the game if someone wanted to play it.
This is purely about greedy crypto bros trying to grift off of Flappy Bird and using legal loopholes to steal the trademark
I think this is the patent IBM is suing over
Seems to be about pre-loading ads to a user’s device. As with most software patents, it sounds like the vaguest possible wording that covers about a million things
Neat! Funny to think of the controversy this caused back in 1994
Posted in the fandom thread but MTGZone.com is around if you enjoy Magic the Gathering
[email protected] - main community
[email protected] - new card reveals
[email protected] - MTG artwork
There are also format specific communities for Standard, Modern, Pauper, Commander, etc… but they don’t see as much use
MTGZone.com for all things Magic the Gathering
[email protected] is the main one but [email protected] is hopping with Duskmourn reveals right now
Edit: also [email protected] if you just want to see some pretty pictures
Played this years ago but couldn’t quite get into it. Maybe I should try it again to see if it clicks
I love that it has its own Wikipedia article
So sophisticated. So adorable
This feels like another case of “I wish the story team had more episodes to work with.” We didn’t get to see very many of the houses horrors, nor much of any survivors in the main plot other than Winter. Razorkin, Cellarspawn and the Overlords all have really cool lore that we never got to see.
Also just straight up stabbing Valgavoth seemed… Too easy? Thankfully they didn’t kill him but it seems like it should have taken more luck/planning to escape. But the temporary door was at least a cool solution, it would have made Valgavoth seem incompetent if they escaped through the door he made for Winter.
Speaking of incompetent, the fact that we have no idea why Loot, Vraska and Jace are on Duskmourn make them seem really stupid. And how are they going to get out, especially now that Valgavoth has Loot?
Even after Automattic acquired it, the site continued to lose money at a rate of $30 million each year, the company’s CEO Matt Mullenweg had said.
I still wanna know what they’re spending all that money on, because I’m sure it’s not developers or even servers. The idea that they can only be profitable if they’re constantly growing their user numbers is an investor idea that’s doomed to fail eventually and why so many social media sites are crashing right now
More backstory about the House and what happened with Mira! Also we meet the Cult of Valgavoth and that bad feeling I had about Winter finally pays off. Tyvar’s turning out to be the MVP with how useful his transmutation magic is.
I do wonder how many main story episodes are left, given that the group is still split up and we have no idea where they actually need to go to escape the House or possibly defeat Valgavoth.
Wait, a solo dev with no experience other than RPG Maker games is making a highly detailed first-person 3D open world tactical strategy RPG with character customization, romance options and branching narratives? Sounds a little too ambitious to be true
Agreed on the red-flagging of abilities. Nadu had so many red flags it really should not have been allowed out untested. If the lands had even entered tapped it might have been okay but they missed so many possible limits on his abilities
Spoilers below
So half the group has burned their fateshifters so far. Tyvar being able to transmute himself into the House seemed too good to be true, and it was.
I thought Jace would have come alone given that he can still planeswalk, bringing Vraska and Loot seems way too risky. They don’t seem to want to make him seem likeable given that he just leaves Kaito to die. I wonder if Kaito will actually be able to planeswalk out of there or if the House truly is inescapable.
Also it’s funny that Duskmourn seems to be afraid of Zendikar. Maybe opening a door to the Roil is dangerous to it? I would have expected maybe Innistrad, Tarkir or Ikoria to be riskier. Actually ,Duskmourn might like bringing in some of the horrors from Innistrad.
It was originally meant to be a Commander card. Based on the other article they put out about Nadu, it looked very different during testing and got changed to its current iteration right before the set was finalized and was never properly playtested.
Not gonna miss any of these cards
Was mostly winging it but tried to stick close to these measurements:
I’m not exactly sure how important this is to how Commander is run as a whole, but it seemed to be making enough buzz that it was noteworthy. I guess we’ll see whether business continues on as usual or if this prompts a response from the RC
