This is basically just Alexandra Daddario, same piercing eyes.
There is definitely pestering, doesn’t matter what they say or do. People will always pester so all we can do is hope it doesn’t get to them, which we’ve seen happen many times to others. But I don’t think there’s a reason to worry here, they know what they’re doing.
I basically lived D2 from Beyond Light to right before Lightfall, loved my time with it but it was too costly with all the full-price expansions, season pass shit etc. just to be able to access a lot of the game. And I was weary of Bungie during that whole time and finally decided to boycott them and the game (and future ones unless they change).
I started playing Warframe about three months ago and absolutely love it, it’s so nice never feel like I HAVE to pay to do anything. Very few things are locked behind having to pay with real money, I think only some skins are. The devs are also very communicative with the players and listen to the community way more than most others. It’s not perfect of course, but the issues aren’t shitty and greedy devs, it’s mainly that some things aren’t fully explained in game and stuff has changed so much over the years that many guides, tutorials and tips you find online don’t really apply anymore. But I’ve got a good grasp of most of the game now and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon, currently at 550+ hours and there’s so much more to do, and more on the way.
It definitely applies to most Americans here too. Almost anything that’s exclusively US is posted like nothing else exists. Both thread and comments are written like they aren’t aware the rest of the world exists. It’s VERY prevalent here just like anywhere else online, and it’s infuriating for everyone outside the US.
I have a 12-year-old stepbrother whose friends like me too so they often tag along when we hang out. I’ve had them say “That’s the guy/thing from Fortnite!” (Or other random games) so many times. I’ve had to explain several times that everything in that game is from other popular games, movies etc. (As far as I know, never played it myself).
It’s fine when it’s some random old meme or viral thing that I wouldn’t expect them to know, I just see that as a chance to show them what it comes from. They’ve become fans of stuff like the peanut butter jelly time song with the dancing banana, crazy frog, Tay Zonday (chocolate rain guy) and more.
But way too many times they’ve said that for things I know that they know what the original characters are from, it’s just that they mainly know those characters from fortnite or whatever so that’s what they think of. I tease them for it, in a playful way of course, but it does get kinda irritating.
Did you forget the /s?
Are you somehow not aware that it’s not lost to time…? You write like you think it’s only able to be watched live and then never again.
Less space than there is between your neurons apparently.
US thing I’m guessing? Here in Sweden, we don’t get much spam mail in the first place but you simply put a “no ads” sign on your mailbox and then only get the stuff you need. The 8 years I’ve lived in my current apartment I’ve gotten like 3 things that weren’t bills and stuff I need.
Ooh, pretty sure that’s the same kind of case I had on my first computer!

Eh, I’ve found highs just as good in many other games since then. Currently getting them in Warframe, started playing a couple of months ago and having an absolute blast. You’ll never find the exact same “high” from something in anything else, let those moments be and welcome new ones. You have that memory, it’ll never go away and you’ll always be able to get some of that feeling from the memory itself.
It’s the same with love, some people spend their whole lives trying to find a specific kind they once had, and by doing so they push away all the new kinds that are able to become just as strong and important.
It does make sense though, we’ve seen anti-trans, gay, abortion etc. conservatives be found out to take part in that very thing they’re publicly against so many times, and it’ll keep happening. Them wanting to classify trans as pornographic means they see it as that and they like it and hate themselves and transpeople for it.
I don’t understand your view here. It’s not there to be impressive, it’s there to be up to date. If an old game is re-released with better controls, for example, it’s not “to be impressive”, it’s to make the experience better.
