Of course, are you joking? It wasn’t just on Lemmy, I actually saw it on Reddit more and then on TikTok (there were multiple live threads immediately after speculating this). Most of my friends who are MODERATES were immediately saying this. Why? Well, because Trump is a 1) known conspirator (for stealing the elections) 2) known for instigating violence (Jan 6th) 3) known for deceiving people and 4) known to be incompetent (fpur seasons landscaping) so if he did mess up his own false flag and almost died, entirely within brand.

There’s also the weird pose he did afterwards with his fist, and that BBC interview where some guy warned the SS/police about the shooter and they didn’t do anything.

Even just rising levels of carbon dioxide take off a couple of IQ points.

For probably 2 or 3 reasons:

• To bring attention to RFK Jr to help remove votes from Trump

• RFK Jr is much more known to right wingers, who are also more violent. They don’t even really know of Cornell West or Jill Stein enough to care. RFK Jr is running opposite of Trump on the Right wingers side, whereas the other two will only strip votes from leftwing/Biden side

• Kennedy Curse, they shouldn’t have lobotomized Rosemary Kennedy. So anything could happen to ol brain worms

Agreed!! Biological determinism is eugenics. And it’s not true, with neuroplasticity we can change. Also, there are multigender and agender people

Agreed, also, focusing on the differences becomes divisive at some point. The truth is, women and men think extremely similarly, as we are all human and humans think alike. But we ignore the greater similarities to instead push for tiny divisions. While it’s great to provide validation, neuroplasticity means that a “girl” brain can become a “boy” brain and vice versa through someone’s lifetime. Gender is also not a strict binary anyway, so how it’s determined who’s a girl and who is a boy and who’s agender or multigender - like it’s so much more complicated than a study like this.

Right? They were directly told and chose to ignore it.

It’s a “hard job,” yet they were literally informed about the shooter crawling to location and ignored it. Seems like incompetence at minimum

Or, Trump, a known participant in previous conspiracies (to overthrow the election), who is also extremely incompetent, may have done a false flag and flubbed it.

Or, one of the most hated presidents of all time had an asassination attempt. Also plausible.

You realize Trump was already previously part of a conspiracy to overthrow the election and was convicted of this, right? It’s not like he’s new to this kind of organizational crime. No one thinks he’s a mastermind; they think he’s a con artist and they just don’t trust him. And I’m not saying it was a false flag, I’m just pointing out that people are basing this on past evidence of his behaviors.

This is also not a qanon level of a conspiracy, it’s quite mild.

Further violence and a mild Civil War are not best case scenario. Queer people dying for your cause is not best case scenario.

Best case scenario (and what seems to be the alt theory on literally every social I have, and on some I don’t have), is that everyone believes this was a false flag (and/or there’s evidence it was a false flag).
