9/11. I was in school and my teacher wheeled the TV cart in. She was an absolute wreck doing so because her husband left that morning for an interview in tower 1. Due to the phone traffic being so busy she couldnt reach him. Luckily he was running late because of traffic and had to drive far enough away before he could call her.

Did you not see the first movie? He was helping people skirt by the system so they would get approved. It’s been a minute but I’m fairly certain his boss calls him in the office to chew him out for having so many people get approved for stuff. This all happens fairly early in the movie.

Thats actually still a thing in the modern age. My friends have one like that. They got theirs new last year. Its also massive.

Sitting quietly in a room for hours at a time literally doing nothing. I once got curious and just sat in my living room for around 10h straight because I wanted to see what my living room and neighborhood was like at night. Im talking no phone, TV, or anything else just me sitting alone staring off chilling.

Fun fact: I average 3 cars an hour over night in my neighborhood and we aren’t really a busy neighborhood off a couple side streets too. Some of the cars leave then come back a few minutes later. Probably drug dealers or something.

I’ll be dead honest, you have a kinda unique situation but I think the advice would be the same either way. You should ask especially since you had that illness and you gotta start somewhere plus if you have a solid relationship with him then it’ll make it even better! Its certainly a unique situation where there’s many approaches you could take but it all boils down to simply asking but also maybe give him the option to say no and hold no bad blood because it can be awkward amongst family members sometimes. If he says no it may not be personal maybe he likes the already established relationship balance you guys have.

Exactly all this! Man, its like sitting on an uncomfortable chair but with my hands. I spend more time googling where something is or how to turn a setting off. It’s awful.

The only reason this can be even slightly true is strictly because of age. We are ALL burnt out. They will be where millennial are in just a few years. We gotta stop this gen VS gen nonsense.

That number is still SIGNIFICANTLY less than those who won’t do anything. Us using ad blockers doesn’t even account for a percentage of what they rake in from those without them.

I don’t plan to switch but sync now has significantly less features since most are starting to not work. Sadly sync will be dead soon unless he comes back and does a pretty significant update. It’s only going to be harder after that since people are dropping the insanely priced subscription which was meant to help maintain the app. He’s lost the trust of his subscribers since it looks like he just took the money and dipped.

With that said its not uncommon to see him disappear then push an update quietly and become more active again. Without a doubt he’s still watching what we are saying.

Easy, I had questions, lots of questions and instead of giving me the answers he walked me through the process to get the answer. This wouldn’t take long to work through I just needed his guidance. Within a year I was promoted and currently I’m in line for another promotion but due to head count there’s no room yet. I’m already the fastest promoted employee in the companies history which is just insane to think about. My previous boss before that couldn’t even bother to listen to anything the team had to say…

If you want to be a good leader just take the few extra minutes and listen to what the team needs screw the corporate nonsense and build your team. When you do that your team is able to then lighten the workload coming from other directions so you can focus on corporate nonsense.

The big difference being that most people don’t know or care to learn how to download their own OS. Installing a browser is quick and easy in comparison.

I’ve been out of the tech world a minute now so maybe its changed but last I knew no PCs came with Linux preinstalled and you can’t just get a Linux OS disk to use to install.

I agree with that i also think they should offer a more complex test that will extend that time to 10 years. After a certain age though you’re only eligible for a 5 year extention.

Damn that pen is actually super handy. My only issue I’d have is i really like having a fine tip pen I use a Pilot G2 07 black pen
