I had this comic book, it was a special edition sold at Radio Shack when I was a kid. And yeah that pocket computer was just a big calculator that had a lot of keys.

Or a Fisher cat.
I’d love to share this but it has the stupid trend of putting strs in wrds. Drves me nts.
Lifting and shifting an existing monolithic architecture to the cloud with zero modernization changes will result in a higher cost than leaving it in a data center.
Converting the application to use as much serverless and microservice-based technology as possible is where the cloud ROI is.
What about when it shows a scooter? As a lifelong motorcycle rider I can’t bring myself to call such a thing anything but a scooter
You can make windows care about file case sensitivity. We enable it at work to ensure sanity with our local git repo’s. https://www.ortussolutions.com/blog/how-to-make-windows-folders-case-sensitive
Yeah, this is a really weird flex. They’re taking work from the author of The Mass Psychology of Fascism, which in a general sense can be used to compare Nazism to the current MAGA movement, but saying that those susceptible to it are… Beta males?
If these mental gymnastics were any more complex they would have won gold in France last week.
My Chia crypto farm at its peak had about 1.5 PB of plots, each plot was I think about 100ish gigs? I’d plot them on a dedicated machine and then move them to storage for farming. I think I’d move around 10TB per night.

It was my dream car but I just never have the time to drive it.
The Guild of Calamitous Intent will hear about this.
They found it in a porno, right?
This is the wrong argument and I’m tired of it. The real argument here is - McDonald’s et al don’t need to raise prices because of the new wage law. They choose to raise prices rather than cut executive pay, or adjust profit margins, or make any other kind of internal adjustments.
This discussion needs to stop being “x raised prices because they had to and government bad” and start being “Billion-dollar-profit company is screwing over consumers because they can”.
I had an order for a Tesla solar roof ($50,000ish/and also owned a few grand of TSLA stock. Cancelled the order and sold the stock after he refused to close his factory for Covid and turned all anti-mask. Fuck Elon.
There’s also an Ace Ventura movie starring a child actor…
