To be fair, this is partly how I’ve been looking at it. In the event that power gets delegated to the VP, you want to know the right hand man isn’t an absolute crock of shit as well.

But surely even an old man suffering dementia is a better candidate than Trump.

  • I don’t think this guy got the memo: the flat earth argument is that water finds its own level. “Large bodies of water don’t curve” as they say.

They believe that the ships don’t actually disappear and that the strong zoom of a Nikon P1000 can actually bring ships back from behind the “curve”.

They’re a very special set of people 👍

And everyone plays it wrong anyway. People employ socialist ideals to make the game “fair”. Whether it’s doubling the money by landing on GO, collecting fines on free parking, going around the board once before buying, no auctions etc.

A true game of Monopoly should only last a couple of hours.

I’ll be honest, I’m holding off only to do more research into what version of Linux I want installed and - more importantly - how to install it without fucking everything up.

I’ve never dual booted, but I think that’s the most likely solution for me right now so I can get used to it.

Since getting a Steam Deck, I think what I want is essentially a desktop that is very similar to the Deck. All I really use a desktop for nowadays is Steam and Firefox.

I’ve seen Pop!OS being mentioned in several articles I’ve read, along with Mint and Bazzite. I’ve heard of Ubuntu, of course - I think that’s one of the more well known distros.

The whole thing can be overwhelming when you’re not used to it. I had the same issue when originally joining Lemmy!
