Just threw two tickets in for a local theater and it’s $38 for two tickets after the $6 convenience fee and taxes.
$20 for snacks and drinks not including tax

That’s not too different from renting a movie a few months later. Theaters have always been more fun to go to for a movie you actually care about.
The problem I have with theaters is that the time and money sink is a terrible value these days. For my wife and I it’s always somehow shy of $70 and takes up most the night.
I thought this was like another one of those rated highly Lego movies. I had to double check to see it was about the fucking dude who sang that one happy song ten years ago.
My issues with 7D2D are countless but the shitty terrain isn’t one of them. I love the way you’re able to destroy and shape the obviously polygon terrain in that game.
It doesn’t look great while you’re doing it but it doesn’t take anything away from the experience.
What’s up fellow size 14s!
I often joke that I’m the person happiest that malls have died off because as a kid I was always forced to go there and try on a a bunch of 12s and 13s that never fit.
These days I’m still upset that so many good looking shoes only go up to 13
Yeah I couldn’t care less about the story and just wanted more fights.
I refunded the game because the goddamn animations couldn’t be sped up 100x or skipped. Yeah dawg I get it blades doing a flip or some shit jfc
Probably time to step back how much social media you’re consuming.
Personally I find myself kinda saddened at how slow tech has advanced. I feel like it’s pivoted from creating new things to ruining old things.
Honestly kinda miss when the drugs I did were illegal. I used to buy weed from this online seller that was really into designer drugs. The amount of time I used to spend on Erowid just to figure out wtf I was about to take.
Yeah my class in college was just called Artificial Intelligence
Sailing games like black flag, valheim, and sea of thieves had pretty fun weather iirc
I think a lot of modern birds have scales on their feet.
https://www.dictionary.com/browse/crunchy-granola#
- characterized by or defining oneself by ecological awareness, liberal political views, and support or use of natural products and health foods.
My wife often goes “I’m looking like a granola girl today but fuck it”
I have friends who are still religious and it seems like they’ve pivoted from “lake of fire” to a more “hell is the absence of God” vibes
I live in a crunchy granola area so I just assume that’s how the church here operates to keep patrons.
When my wife and I stay at a hotel we watch cable and put on like QVC shopping channels.
It’s fun to overreact and be like “this is 100 genuine silver painted lead.” Some of the channels will have like changing infographics that flash and explode every second as the price keeps dropping so we make wooshing sounds as it keeps falling to a new low.
I’m claustrophobic just thinking about that nightmare
I’ve always said that waving to your neighbors buys a lot of favors.
I might forget my neighbors name but since he waves to me every time I see him then I’d die for that dude
Eh that seems like a major stretch. NJ used above was prefaced with “somewhat niche US info”
I even replaced what the guy said which was Chris Christie with NJ gov because I hardly expected anyone abroad to know him
I feel like if we’re going to start thinking that someone’s putting the ass in assumption just because they used something others might not understand then we’re in trouble
You’d have to kill off any slang or expressions for fear that people might not understand them
As a US citizen I think we forget how much of our shit gets out.
I’m always surprised when I go abroad and people are up to date with somewhat niche US info. I was in Hong Kong and some local dude made a reference to the fatass NJ gov who was chilling on the closed beach during lockdowns.
I do feel like I see far more people complaining about US people making assumptions than I do US people assuming. When I’m replying to someone I don’t put any thought into where they’re from unless they drop a context clue.
Paris green (what I’m assuming the book covers in the meme is made of) is one of my wife’s favorite topics to info dump on someone. I brought her to the sign museum in Cincinnati and she had like an hour long convo with the dude who worked there on just that.
I get a lot of enjoyment from the giant tub of oil drenched popcorn and my wife likes her 1 liter of Diet Coke. At this point it’s just a cost you account for like tipping if you’re going out to eat.
