Yes, Turkey is both in Europe and in Asia. The same is true of Russia.
Food is definitely cultural. Which means doner is part of European culture. Just like Russian borscht.

Turkey is within Europe. It’s a question of geography, not culture.
What people think about Turkish culture is a completely separate question. Americans have a similar culture to the British, but that does not make Americans part of Europe. Nor can Turkey’s culture move their land outside of Europe.
Birthplace aside, doner is European because Europe includes both Germany and Turkey.
“European” is not the same as “EU member”.
Deflation causes mass unemployment. We tried it in the 1930s. Didn’t go well.
Yup. Not only that, but the attacks from the GOP and media won’t stop. They will simply change from “Biden is too old” to racist garbage like “Harris might be our first DEI president” (That’s an actual headline from the NY Post, which I refuse to link to).
No matter what happens, Democrats will need thick skin.
citations must be handed over personally to the driver
In Arizona, the operator of an AI vehicle must submit a law enforcement interaction plan that specifies how they will be ticketed.
However, it’s quite possible that actually following the plan is a pain in the butt for traffic cops, and they simply don’t want to put in the effort.
I’m just speculating, but there is probably a very efficient workflow for sending a ticket to an individual (given the number of tickets police write and the revenue they generate), and I wouldn’t be surprised if the workflow doesn’t accommodate an AI operated vehicle. Kind of like how a restaurant would need to restructure its workflow to accommodate DoorDash.
In other words, “infeasible” might actually mean “would take extra effort”.
Arizona law does allow officers to give out tickets when a robotaxi commits a traffic violation while driving autonomously; however, officers have to give them to the company that owns the vehicle. Doing so is “not feasible,” according to a Phoenix police spokesperson
This sort of thing happens even when nobody is selling a book or other product.
It’s just easier for the host (who won’t need to prepare as much) and the guest (who won’t be caught off guard).
And not just campaigns. People who are interviewed on TV commonly provide a list of questions to their host.
I participated in a TV interview once, and was surprised to find that everyone got together beforehand to outline the interview, eg “OK first you can ask me about X, and I’ll answer Y so maybe you could follow up with Z, etc”
The campaign sent eight questions.
The host approved four questions for her show. Those four were among the eight.
the DNC heavilly convinced all the establishment candidates other than Biden to drop out
That’s not rigging an election, that’s just politics.
It’s literally the same thing Macron is doing right now to stop Le Pen’s fascists from winning.
Nobody who was paying attention thought he would be a one term president. He said nothing of the sort because that was never his plan. He literally said so at the time:
I don’t have plans on one term
And his campaign emphasized the same thing at the time:
Lots of chatter out there on this so just want to be crystal clear: this is not a conversation our campaign is having and not something VP Biden is thinking about
This is not a conversation we are having among people who actually are running the campaign
And yet people still want to believe a bunch of anonymous “senior advisers” over what Biden actually said. Pure wishcasting.
The only polls that matter are Biden vs Trump, and those haven’t really changed post-debate.
When has any candidate ever invited challengers?
Candidates don’t “step back”, challengers step up. If nobody wants to because the candidate appears certain to win the primary, don’t blame the candidate.
People probably are looking at their performances as president.
The polls have barely budged since the debate. That tells you people aren’t really using debates to decide who to vote for.
Myopia develops in children. If you have any, you’ll know they don’t generally look out of car windows.
The plan is to remind voters that this will be a close election and every vote matters.
However, the debate is irrelevant. On the one hand, you have a liar who hates immigrants and wants to benefit wealthy Christians. On the other hand, you have a lousy debater who respects the rule of law and protects women’s rights.
Nobody faced with this choice is going to ask, “Hmm, just how lousy at debating are we talking?”
And historically, it rains over 90% of the time.
