I don’t know if there is specific reading on that, but I don’t really see why they would have issues. The border between the two nations is almost impassable, so it wouldn’t likely have any real border disputes. And China generally doesn’t care about the ideology of their neighbours, as long as they aren’t actively disruptive or antagonistic. I don’t think it would be a problem, unless they are the kind of “Maoist” who are funded by the CIA.

These are just my initial thoughts though. I doubt it would really affect much, unless the Maoist nation was especially belligerent, which isn’t at all unique to Maoism, any nation could be that way.

*Most of my knowledge of Nepal comes from hearsay from people who aren’t particularly politically minded, so I wouldn’t claim to be an expert at all.

I think it’s more likely these munitions are there to slaughter protestors tbh. 12 million isn’t really a lot to start a war, but it is plenty to suppress your own people.

From what I’ve heard from my Nepalese friends and acquaintances, they’re little more than a socdem party at this point, but hopefully this is a sign of good things to come.

Agreed as well. This person is asking questions that strike me more as “do the work for me” rather than actually learning themselves. It feels like they want others to put in the effort of understanding theory so they don’t have to form their own opinions.

I think a part of it, in the west at least, is the 24 hour news cycle that is constantly fearmongering. Conservatives are reactionary, and the best way to get people to just react instead of act is to freak out the lizard part of the brain and make it think they are constantly under attack.

The Chinese economic model is a different one to the Soviet model. They have different goals and aims and exist within different circumstances so it is pointless to compare them like this.

I’ll get better at jogging and run in a big loop around the city bus interchange every evening during peak hour. I’d also try to attend more concerts and football games, and just spend the entire time walking around trying to get within 10 metres of everyone.

I think the best part of this superpower would be that if cops try to arrest you, they also become communists, and realise they’re the brute squad for capital and will just let me go while they rethink their life choices.
