When you watch a video using Sync, like from redtube, you are actually asking the Sync server to find the video in the link and send you what it finds. Same with downloading a video. This is because the Dev constantly has to update the code that extracts videos from websites.
So he knows all the porn you watch.

I’ll check it out, but I’m also learning Python scripting in GIMP, and I found a really nice batch plugin called BIMP that can do things like crop, resize, and much more on many files at once.
Although I hear the python-fu thing is going away in version 3.0, and instead you’re just supposed to use a code library in a standalone Python script. The python-fu thing is handy because it adds new menu items for the scripts you make for easy access.

There are even a ton of retro games on Steam. Not vintage, but retro. New games with old school graphics and appeal, like The Messenger.

All speakers are two pins. 🤔 They were crappy because they were most often little piezoelectric speakers, or otherwise very small where they couldn’t play low frequency sounds well.
They smell really pretty, too.
I have no problems with either. 🤷♂️ The site and all of their apps work fine.

Fast forward in emulators. Also, the menu toggle in Retro Arch.
In Dungeons of Dredmor, an old mouse and KB roguelike, the community made a good layout where every button is mapped to a keyboard key to open the various inventory and crafting windows, etc. With the track pad right there to act as a mouse, it’s honestly just as good as a mouse and KB. Maybe even better.

If I read comments then tap the Android back button, the post looks read and it stays that way through refreshes, so I don’t seem to be affected. I’m on Lemmy.world, though.
Sync is full of dumb bugs and the markdown uses reddit style for everything still. A fucking year later. I wish apps like Thunder would catch up in the quality-of-life features so I can abandon Sync entirely. It’s a cobbled together port of Sync for Reddit and was never given the focus it needs, especially for the price he asks for it.
