  • There’s a tool sharing program in my neighborhood. You pay like $20 a year for access, and come by, borrow a tool/leave a tool. It’s great as people leave lots of big tools sitting around doing nothing.

I want that for computer parts and wires.

Lets pool our ps/2 keyboard adapters and VGA cords together!

And then he pushed for Universal Healthcare? We went into a major depression and his work pushed us out of it? Repealed “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”? You know how shit it was to travel to other countries under Bush thanks to the Iraq War? Do you know that minorities for decades saw the presidency as a “Old White Dude club” since forever?

People acting like they fucked around for their presidency.

  • I see it as two types of people.

Managers expect quick responses. They jump into meetings. They ask for frequent status updates. They’re pissed when you ignore them for a day.

Makers need time to think and create. They code for hours of uninterrupted time. They’re generating art or fine tuning a song. Asking for a status update is an interruption, and every interruption isn’t a lost moment, but a severe disruption.

You’re seeing that in the comments. Some are makers. Some are managers. We both require different things.

You can read more about it here: Makers vs managers schedule
