we have already seen this story in 2000: piracy
heres why this is important: in the current regime, we are the defenders and they are the attackers. Ie, they just need 1 exploit, we need to block all of them
in a piracy regime, the roles are flipped: we just need 1 exploit to get the data, they need teams of people to protect their shit.

i prefer the denizens of walmart to the karens of target, but to each their own.
(to be clear i live in sf bay, so target is the “poor trash” store, theres only 1 walmart in driving distance, and thats literally the only homeless encampment we haven’t figured out how to destroy)
