3·22 days agoIt’s still very playable even today. The HD version has support for modern resolutions and modding (the scene is relatively active for a somewhat niche game from 2000).

80s/90s console games (and in some way even today) were much more vanilla and restricted in their perspective.
This was never an issue with computer games. 80s/90s PC games had a broad spectrum of presentation.
The original Leisure Suit Larry was released in 1987.

That was a bit before my time. I started playing computer games in 96 with Simcity 2000, although the Amiga scene at the time sounded like a lot of fun (and you could still see the Amiga influence even in the mid 90s).
I think it depends on the remake and how it is done.
