Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released a batch of 68 photos obtained from the estate of Jeffrey Epstein on Thursday, one day before the deadline for the Trump administration to release a much larger group of Epstein files.

The photos come from a trove of 95,000 images the committee received last week, the Democrats said. The release includes images of lines from the novel “Lolita” written on a person’s body; various travel documents; a screenshot of text messages about an 18-year-old from Russia and more. The photos can be accessed here.

The Democrats released several dozen photos last week, showing various high-profile figures including President Trump, former President Bill Clinton, Woody Allen, Gates and others. Neither batch of photos implicates any of those pictured in Epstein’s crimes.

Yeah, they said that in the antitrust trial in the 90s. It was horseshit then and it’s horseshit now.

Billionaires never see justice for the same reason no one has ever seen the easter bunny. Justice doesn’t exist. Just a legal system designed to punish the poor and minorities.

      billionaires never see justice

It’s because they have successfully convinced the majority of this country that having money makes you a better person.

or that at that level, they can influence local, state and some national politics in a way the common man just can’t touch; purchasing the people in the roles for “law enforcement” there’s just no one that can do it.

        it feels incompatible with democracy.

How could anyone possible equate these things? All that happens in antitrust is your business is split up. This is a whole other thing.

It’s part of what he did, and it’s the sole reason that he’s the only rich person who saw any consequences from the subprime mortgage catastrophe.

Now is there any other rich criminal you want to make excuses for because you’re unwilling to admit that capitalism is less than absolutely perfect in every conceivable way?

So far you’ve gone to bat for Madoff and Gates.
