I used to like rap and hip hop decades ago, but now I have I guess you could say “comfort” artists I listen to instead (mostly alt rock, instrumentals, old songs with lyrics or sounds that trigger specific feelings I have). I know nothing about the rap beef that’s been going on and I felt like I had to be in the loop to really appreciate the halftime show, and be an actual fan. I saw the show online and I did think Kendrick Lamar’s rapping ability was impressive and I liked Samuel L Jackson as uncle Sam. But I would not watch it again. I don’t look like these guys at all, I just recognize I’m not the target audience and I don’t need to make a fuss about it. I also don’t think it sucked or was the worst.
Incidentally, I look a lot like several of these guys, and I also didn’t like the halftime show, but not for the reason being implied here.

I fuckin hate rap . I like no lyrics music and rap is the opposite 😭
