    You cant ban “basic” tools

    Guns are tools too, but way to specialized. Almost nobody really needs them.

    But knives? I use knives daily for food prep/cooking

    And opening boxes

    And cutting wood

    (Of course different knives with different types of blade, etc)

    A gun has 1 purpose: kill someone
