Good luck. There’s large swaths of the population convinced that human areas should be sterile. They don’t see a problem with this because they’ve forgotten that we’re part of the food chain. It doesn’t just magically appear on our plates.
Are we even part of the food chain, given that we not only can kill and eat everything except poisonous things but also “make” everything we want?
poopie and peepee. also the thousands of things that thrive off us - pigeons, rats, cockroaches
The top of it is still a part of it. You can’t eat nothing.
So what do we do? Seriously, like what actionable steps can be taken to stop this? I want to do something
I’m not having children and I’m waiting to die. Good luck!
How about 2/3 going extinct in the last 50 years?
Yeah but think of the AI models we could train?

I don’t see how capitalism has anything to do with this. Civilization is gonna be industrial no matter the economic system, and there are plenty of instances of socialist countries demolishing forests or polluting rivers for short term gains
reddhat fascist
validity as a human being discarded
How does this get downvoted? Amazing.
You know why there are no more trees on Iceland? Well not because of capitalism or profit.
