telling the whole story would be comparing Harris’ Support for Israel with Trump’s support for Israel, which was the point of my very first response to you.
They both support Israel, and they are both complicit in their actions to eradicate the Palestinians. Just because one says this shouldn’t happen but still promises to provide them unconditional support doesn’t absolve their complicity in the matter. This post completely sidesteps people’s very real issue with Harris. It shouldn’t matter what Trump said. She still plans on arming Israel. You don’t defend a serial killer by saying “Well yeah, but Jeffrey Dahmer ate people as well. What about him?”
False equivalence, Trump was the most fanatical Israeli supporter of any president before him, even other republican presidents.

I never offered Harris absolution or said I don’t have any issues with her policies. But in this political context with an election coming up in two months, they always need to be compared with each other. Trump would be much worse for Palestine than Harris would be given his fanatical and authoritarian track record.
She still plans on arming Israel. You don’t defend a serial killer by saying “Well yeah, but Jeffrey Dahmer ate people as well. What about him?”
because that’s a completely inaccurate analogy. the fact is we are forced to choose between Harris and Trump, and one is clearly worse than the other on this issue. which one are you going to vote for?
No one is saying Trump would be better. But a meme that takes what they both said in public speeches without taking into account their actual policy that they are campaigning on is dishonest. That was the point of my original comment. That this meme doesn’t provide the whole truth.
And I’m making a comment on what people are actually critiquing Harris on. This post doesn’t capture that.
because that’s not the point, as I said.
The point of the post was to show how bad Trump is without telling the whole story?
