I actually feel sorry for his dad.

I didn’t agree a whole lot with Ron, but I had respect for him. Though I didn’t necessarily share his principles, they were obviously deeply held and sincere.

Rand, on the other hand, appears to have no meaningful principles at all, and I can’t work out if it’s because he’s too dishonest or too stupid, and I have the sneaking suspicion it’s actually both.

I find it extremely incredulous he doesn’t have enough money from his Russian overlords.

Then again it’s probably now all going to Trump’s legal troubles.

This isn’t socialism it’s just taxes, or welfare. Of course the American system thinks welfare is socialism so there’s that.

Those who vote for socialism voluntarily consent to socialism…

And those who didnt vote for it?

And what happens when the state decides to fund something you despise? Like America funding Israel?

Right? Like…I’m already getting fucked by my government in terms of doing things I don’t like. I may as well get something out of it.

And those who didnt vote for it?

They should do exactly what you do when the election doesn’t go your way.

That’s the same argument used to not fund summer food programs for kids. So we do our best. We vote, we call, we write letters, we loudly complain.

As you’ve pointed out it doesn’t take socialism for the government to fund shit you hate.

How do taxes have anything to do with voluntary contributions? Taxes also don’t support the creation of anthropomorphised foxes with big tits, but patreon subscriptions sure do.
