We should always strip bonuses from CEOs of companies like DB when they make such a mess of key infrastructure. Richard Lutz got €440,000 after his salary last December. That being said, they don’t need the money in the first place. The railways themselves do, as do the people paying the excessive price of tickets right now.

Nothing will be fixed. They removed some of their construction plans as the money is missing.

Between this comment and the story of that Berlin Brandenburg airport, I am shocked at how common it is for money to go missing in German large scale projects

If you are shocked… You have not been living around the world the rest of us have been suffering

In the US, these clowns can blow 10 billion on McKenzie consulting services to tell you will cost 100 billion or some shite.

Looking at you California high speed rail.

This is what we in Tejas call corruption, and this word hurts the boomer

Yeah the criminal consulting operation that also advised Purdue on opioids.

Also the old employer of Wall Street Pete.

Also the old employer of Wall Street Pete.

During which time he advised Canada’s grocery cartel to fix the price of bread, leading to decades of overcharging. The punishment for this? The government let the grocery stores issue a free gift card for their stores to every customer. Yes, you read that right! The punishment for price fixing and collusion was to run a marketing campaign.

              Thanks, Mayor “Mayo Rat” Pete!
