I was reading the article and was very confused on why they asked her to recuse herself because they don’t mention her being involved in the case at all. Terrible reporting by AP which is disappointing.
Great point! I had assumed that the case pertained to the 2023 election in which Protasiewicz was on the ballot, so they were alleging some sort of ripple of evil that made the whole state-wide election suspect. But no, I see now that the suit was filed in 2022.
