In mountain biking, it’s said that if you want to avoid a rock, don’t look at it. Look where you want to go. If you look at the rock, you are much more.likely to subconsciously steer the bike right into it. Your mind probably knew about it, and was trying not to bring it up. But therefore you were thinking about it a lot, and what comes up? A mom joke.
