I’ve seen quite a few homes with no tvs to be seen, like what are yall doing with your time? I couldn’t imagine a family room without a tv.

ITT: “I haven’t had a TV for years. I typically watch Plex/Netflix/Hulu on the 65” flat screen in my living room."

I think too many people are confusing “TV” with “broadcast television” or “cable.” OP is talking about the physical television set.

I have a 43" (108cm) computer monitor. It’s on my computer desk, which my couch faces. I really don’t know what you are asking.

I wasn’t asking anything just pointing out the confusion in the comments.

OP is asking for input from people who don’t own a television set but the lines are pretty blurred these days. I’d say your setup qualifies as a TV set. A monitor, especially at that size, is just a TV without speakers especially when it faces the couch.
