Israel had always played both sides of American politics. Proof: AIPAC is supposedly non-partisan and candidates of both parties openly kowtow to them. This is the gamble that is biting Israel in the ass. The Left abhors apartheid while the Right are straight up Nazis wanting Holocaust 1.0 (they believe the previous one is fake). The long term support of Israel is gone once the Boomers die out.
