I’m finding that enjoying Google products and services on Lemmy is a hot take. Personally I use a Pixel phone and use nearly all Google services from Gmail to Keep.

I do. Especially compared to a company like Amazon. Google’s alternatives to Amazon’s are almost always better and has better UI/UX.

But Amazon knows the market and whatever bs they stitch together ends up being the more popular option.

What I have in mind are GCP vs AWS, Kindle vs. Play Books, etc

You prefer gcp to aws? I’ve only worked with public cloud a little bit but AWS has felt far ahead of its competition.

      Clunky, but featureful.

GCP is great for single developer projects and smaller projects, while AWS/Azure are better for business and scaling.

At least from my limited experience with it
