Nah, keep the free games. All they need to do to gain serious market share is to use the key store money laundering economy as well.
That’ll go over great with the entitled user base they built through free game giveaways.
I actually like that Steam has competition. I think it forces them to not be lazy or else they’ll slip into features nobody cares about like expanding on their points system.
But the Epic launcher is still garbage. There’s so many basic features it’s missing. Accidental clicks starts the game. Achievements blow up the audio and there’s no way to turn that off. Still hard to organize your collection.
They fail to make their software “sticky”.
